Day 2 -- Load

My weight today was 183.6, down .6 for the day.

Now I only have 148.6 to my final goal, 3.8 to my first mini goal and17.8 to my 10% goal.

Tomorrow starts the restricted calorie part of the diet.  I am praying for good results!  And the ability to stick with it.  I know it works, I just have to keep putting the effort in.

Day 1 - Load

I weighed in this morning at 184.2.  I want to lose 49.2 lbs!  That is about how much Kirsten weighs!

My BMI is 30.6 which puts me in the obese category.   At 179.8, I will be in the overweight category.  That is my first mini goal.

My second mini goal is 165.8.  That is 10% of my weight.  I hope to lose this by the end of mid-February.

Another mini goal is to be in the 160's by the time we go to LA.  I am hoping this blog will help me stay accountable.

I found out today another person I know is doing HCG and she has lost 85 pounds!  I am so proud of April!!!

Goals

I have an overall weight loss goal, but I also am setting mini goals along the way. 

My overall weight loss goal is to weigh 135 pounds.  That is about 50 pounds I want to lose.  I want to wear a size 6 in clothes.

Along the way I plan to mark my progress in 10% goals.  After I weigh in tomorrow, I will post my 10% goals.

I also want to have a healthy BMI.  That will happen at around 149 pounds. 

At the end of my journey, I plan to start training for a 5K and eventually a marathon that I run the whole way.

HCG

I have used HCG before to lose weight and did great.  In a little less then a month, I lost 15 pounds.  I know it works, I just have to stay motivated.

I am going to start my load days tomorrow.  The restricted calorie part of my day will start on Thursday.  I know I can do it, because I have done it before.

I plan to use this blog as a motivator and as a way to keep track of my progress.  I will post my weight daily and my measurements monthly.  Tomorrow, I will post my starting weight and measurements.

Why I Want To Lose Weight

There are the obvious reasons of wanting to be healthier and look better.  Kirsten is  a big reason I want to lose weight.  I want her to see me as healthy and to set a good example for her.  Also, I want to feel better about myself.  I want to not be depressed every time I have to get dressed.
