5 Weeks

  Tomorrow has been 5 weeks since I started on the program.  I weighed in today at IP, at 176.8.  Making my 5 week total 17.2 pounds.  I am excited about that, but I am also proud.
  I don't know that I will make it to my goal by the time we go to Vegas, but I am going to try.  I am also going to be happy at whatever weight I am at when we go.  Scott does not judge me by what I look like, but I would love to feel proud on his arm.
  My next goal is 4.8 pounds away.  I think it will take a couple of weeks for me to get there, but I know I will.  On December 1st, I want to weigh, at most, 169.8.  It's been so long since I was in the 160's.
  If I was more strict with the IP plan, I am sure I could lose weight faster then I am currently.  But, I am happy with my progress and am sticking to a plan even when I slip.  Getting back into the IP grove hasn't been hard.  With HCG when I would slip, it was impossible to get back on the horse.  I am grateful to Lauren for telling me about this program.

Slow and Steady

Well, here it is, October 30th and I made it to 179.8.  Might not have happened as quickly as I wanted it to, but I am there now.  Tomorrow will be one month since I started Ideal Protein and I will know on Thursday how much I lost according to their scale.  As for my scale, I have lost 13 pounds!  That is great for one month.
It hasn't all been easy, but I am doing pretty good.  Last week, week 3, was hard.  I cheated alot!  Which accounts for why I only lost 1.6 pounds that week.  This week I have done much better, not perfect, but better. 
I am most excited because I finally ran a 10 minute mile!  I have had this goal for a LONG time! Now I want to get it down to 9:30 minutes, and then add 1/2 a mile at a time.

Here we go again...

  Two weeks ago, I started a new diet.  This is called Ideal Protein.  When I weighed in on Day 1, I weighed 194 pounds.  I am so sad and embarrassed that I let myself get that big. 
  Here I plan to post only official weigh ins only.  My first week weight was 186.8.  A 7.2 pound loss is not a bad way to start.  I am hoping for 3-4 pounds tomorrow.  I would LOVE to be out of the 180's. 
  My first goal is to get back to 172.  This is what I weighed when David died.  I was doing so well, and then became derailed.  I would love to get back there.  My next goal is 158.  This is what I weighed before I got pregnant with Kirsten.  The next goal is 154, this is what I weighed when Scott and I got married. 
My ultimate goal is 135.  I honestly don't know what to think about that weight.  It has been a goal for so long, that it seems like a pipe dream. 
  This diet seems very doable.  Lauren Field did it and was successful and is also successfully keeping it off.  We are going to Vegas in February to see George Strait farewell tour.  I would love to be at or close to goal by then.  Thanksgiving and Christmas are going to be challenging, but I am determined to get through.
